We would like to give you some tips for a day out in the region.
We are only at:
20 minutes (9,3 miles) from the most beautiful beaches of the Emerald coast.
We will give you a road map and instructions to visit the most beautiful ones.
At 15 min drive 7km (4,5 miles) ,you can find San Pantaleo, a small whimsical picturesque village.
It has an artisan market selling their products every Thursday morning.
Beautiful festivals in summer time,with Sardinian folk dancers ,concerts little restaurants and beautiful little shops.
At 15 min drive 10 km(6,2 miles) of our farm you will find the small town of Arzachena.
Here you will find a few shops, including a pharmacy, but also some wonderful Nuragic monuments.
Every Wednesday morning in the little city center you can shop in several little sardinain shops and in the main time you can visit also nice market.
A Great festival with concerts and Sardinia Folk Dancers!
At 20 minutes drive of 12km (7,5 miles) you can find Cannigione.
This small town, close to the sea, has a view of the bay. It has a small beach, allowing you to go for a swim.
Monday mornings are reserved for the local market, and in the months of June, July and August there is an evening fair.
At the opposite of Palau you can find the isle La Maddalena with his little village "small Paris" surrounded by beautiful beaches.
The archipelago of La Maddalena can be visited by car.
We recommend an excursion by sailing or motor boat to visit ‘L’archipelago della maddalena’with its gorgeous islands, and nature reserve.
You can even visit on the Maritim museum and the island of Caprera reachable by car ,the museum of Giuseppe Garibaldi.
At 30 minutes drive of 25km(15,5 miles) the quaint beach resort of Palau is to be found.
It has a variety of shops, local markets on Friday morning, and in the months of June, July and August evening fairs are hosted.
*** Excursion during the day surrounding magnificent islands on a sailing or motor boat.
At 50 km (31 miles), a 45 minutes drive,Santa Teresa di Gallura is to be found, near the coast, hosting their local market on Thursday morning, centre filled with enticing small shops.
From the harbour trips to the isle of Corsica are available.
For those interested in historical monuments and archeology: here are many interesting remnants of the Nuragic civilization in Arzachena and surroundings.
